Operating brands

i. operating brands / three companies, one operator

i. / ai agency

LogicOfLogic

Agentic consultation and implementation for businesses adopting AI as core infrastructure.

ii. / domain investing

DnBlackbook

The best-selling domaining course of its year. v2 evergreen, before 2026 year end.

iii. / web & software

Trilot

Direct operating unit. Custom software, fractional leadership, technical audits, meeting cadence.

iia. selected work / proof, not promises

Things that actually shipped.

Most client work stays behind NDAs, in the room it was built for. These are the ones that can be shown in public — including this site.

All work

iii. thirty years online

A habit measured in decades.

The discipline came out of the dial-up years: write it down, distrust anything that can't survive a personnel change, and give anything worth building a six-month minimum and a twenty-year horizon.

  1. late 1980s

    First computers.

A Commodore 64 and a teenager learning what software actually was — the kind that didn't come in a box, the kind you wrote yourself.

  2. 1999

    First websites, first domains.

The work moved to the web for good. Domain names were registered on instinct and held on principle — a small handful paid for the rest.

  3. 2001 — 2009

    Canon Jordan, Canon Training, DotFormatics.

IT direction for Canon's Jordan subsidiary, a training arm built from nothing, and an independent web studio run in parallel.

  4. 2024

    Wyoming LLC re-registered.

Trilot LLC formalised as the operating company behind three brands — contracts, tax and registration in Sheridan, Wyoming.

  5. 2026

    Three brands operating.

LogicOfLogic for AI advisory, DnBlackbook for domain investing, Trilot for web and software. One operator, one LLC, three rhythms.

An ink study: sage, rust and sky strokes sweeping across the frame toward a bright core.
Ink study — three strokes drawn as one continuous sweep. Generated for this redesign; no photography, no stock.

iv. talk to the operator

Most engagements start with a conversation.

No pitch deck, no sales pipeline — just a conversation about what the team is shipping and where the friction is. The right service depends on where the team currently is: sometimes what looks like a software build is really an audit; sometimes what looks like an audit is really a cadence problem. The first conversation sorts that out.

v. operator notes / present moment

Notes from the desk.

2026.05

Shipped this site’s relaunch this week.

Three brushstrokes, one operator — hand-coded in static HTML, no framework. Most projects don’t need what React gives them. The simplest stack outlasts the rest.

2026.04

Built glassollogy.com for a glass and aluminum workshop in Amman.

The owner makes things you can touch and weigh — windows, balustrades, custom storefronts. We built a page that does the same: bilingual, fast, no ceremony.

ongoing

Most of what we ship sits behind NDAs.

The two pages above are the exceptions, not the rule. Client work stays in the room it was built for. If you want to see the rest, you’ll need to be inside it.

1999

Bought my first domain. Still own it.

Of the thousands registered since, a small handful paid for the rest. The discipline was never picking winners — it’s holding through silence while time does the work.

since 1999 on the web — since the late ’80s with computers

vi. keyword research tooling / google ads api

Trilot — internal software.

Trilot builds and operates its own software. Its current internal application — Trilot — is a keyword research tool that connects to the Google Ads API to read keyword metrics: search volume, competition, and cost-per-click estimates for terms related to domain names the company evaluates for its own portfolio.

The tool accesses only Trilot LLC's own Google Ads account data, uses it solely for internal analysis by the company's owner, and never shares, sells, or transfers it to any third party. See our privacy policy and terms of service.

internal only read-only scope own account data never shared
data path

Three hops, none of them onward.

  • Google Ads API answers read-only queries against Trilot LLC’s own account.
  • The internal tool stores the returned metrics for one operator’s analysis.
  • Nothing is resold, syndicated, or handed to a third party — ever.
why it exists

Portfolio decisions, made on evidence.

Domain names are evaluated the same way the rest of the work is: write the tool, read the numbers, hold the position, and let time do the compounding.
